The first responsibility of the government is to provide for the safety of residents. As a parent, Michael Endres wants to keep Cedar Park’s neighborhoods safe for all. As a police sergeant, he knows that well-trained first responders, access to mental health and family support services, and well-designed roads, bike paths, and sidewalks for people of all ages to get around on are a recipe for a safe city.

A Safe, Strong, and Accessible Cedar Park

My wife Laura and I chose Cedar Park for the same reason many of you did: to find a safe, thriving community to live and raise our children.

My background is not in politics; it is in service. As a former Marine and current Police Lieutenant, I look at our city through a lens of practicality, safety, and fiscal responsibility.
Here is why I want to serve you on the City Council:

Unwavering Support for Public Safety Government’s first responsibility is the safety of its people. With 14 years in law enforcement and a background in the Marine Corps, I understand exactly what our first responders need to succeed. I am committed to ensuring Cedar Park Police, Fire, and EMS are properly resourced, trained, and appreciated. My goal is simple: make Cedar Park the premier destination for the best first responders in Texas.
Smart Infrastructure & Family Safety My sons, Jacob and Grant, love riding their bikes to school, and Laura and I are avid runners. Having responded to countless accidents in my career, I know that street design dictates safety. I co-founded Cedar Park Strong to advocate for safer roadways, sidewalks, and connectivity. As your Council Member, I will push for modern street standards that protect drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike—ensuring our infrastructure keeps up with our growth.
Thriving Local Business I come from a family of small business owners. I know that a strong local economy relieves the tax burden on residents. I will actively support commercial projects—like the Bell District and NFM—that expand our tax base and fund the quality amenities our families enjoy.

Housing for Our Workforce As a licensed real estate broker, I see how housing, business, and community stability are connected. A healthy city has a place for the teachers who educate our kids, the nurses who care for our sick, and the police officers who keep us safe. I support common-sense housing policies that allow people who work in Cedar Park to own a piece of it, ensuring our community remains accessible through every stage of life.
